The time period from the 16th of February to 11th of March is always very busy at our Lithuanian schools in Shadwell and Grays.
This year, there was organised a quiz Days of Lithuanian Language(by Lithuanian Language Committee) for students and their parents. The winners were awarded with valuable Lithuanian books. In addition, there were events at both of our Lithuanian schools to commemorate the Lithuanian Independence Day. Ms Auguste Emilija Janonyte, The Winner of Queen Morta Prize and the Music teacher of EC Lighthouse Lithuanian School performed at the event. Some of the EC Lighthouse students were awarded with memorial medals for their achievements.
