Grays EC Lighthouse Lithuanian School
Subjects taught at EC Lighthouse Lithuanian school: Lithuanian language, History of Lithuania and Geography. Theatre and Arts are incorporated in Lithuanian language lessons.
Lessons are taking place every Thursday from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m..
Students have Lithuanian language tests and exams and at the end of the year certificates are issued.
The beginning of teaching year is the second week of September and the end of teaching year is the second week of July.
Holidays depends on the Holidays in British schools.

Shadwell EC Lighthouse Lithuanian School
Subjects taught at EC Lighthouse Lithuanian school: Lithuanian language, History of Lithuania, Geography, Theatre, Music, Dance and Arts.
Since 2018 we have started teaching Spanish language.
Lessons at our Shadwell school are taking place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
Students have Lithuanian language tests and exams and at the end of the year certificates are issued.

SPANISH LANGUAGE
We have started teaching Spanish language since 2018. At the moment we have 24 students (11-13 years old) studying Spanish.
There will be a new group for kids from 8 years old from September 2019.
There is no extra fees for Spanish Language lessons as it is included as an optional lesson in our program.
Why it is worth studying Spanish?
- It is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world and it is an official language in 21 country such as Spain, Mexico, Argentina, etc..
- It is one of the main languages in UK that will be needed in the near future.
- Knowledge of languages extends limits of human potential.
